The Pensiunea Mai is a small family-run hotel situated 15 km outside of Sibiu on the way to Păltiniş, which is the highest-altitude resort in the country (1,484 metres). The hotel is placed at the foot of the Cindrel Mountains, in the Ştezii Valley. Pensiunea Mai has 2 restaurants, offer a rich variety of dishes from Romanian and international cuisine. There is also a covered terrace and a terrace by the pool. Wireless internet access is available free of charge. The hotel has 2 fully equipped conference rooms with 60 and 40 seats. Activities in the area include paragliding, cycling, rides in horse-drawn carriages or sleigh rides in winter, paintball and various other sports.
